Let’s just say 99.99% of Kenyans are one medical bill away from poverty. Betty Bayo kids study in international schools but hospital bills had taken a toll on her that she had to fundraise to be transferred from Kenyatta to KU(unfortunately, she died before the transfer).. Are you healthy? Shukuru mungu and forget y0ur troubles for a moment
Siwezi lipa internasionalle school fees and trips na mimi nakufia Kenyarra
shida ya kenya ni moja. western standards among people who live in a shithole. americanizing and britifying themselves completely, n kusahau uko mavumbica not murica.
Maybe it was her significant other paying for the kids fees.
Pesa ya sadaka imefanya kanyari akule soft life

Kanyari is a well known deadbeat dad with kids all over Eastlands..Betty once called him out for not chipping in
Keeping up appearances and setting standards.
What people forget is the curve ball called life. You wake up tomorrow and shit has changed so drastically you don’t have time nor resources to catch up.
This is not just for these wannabe celebs.
It’s everyone. Many people, who most likely can afford it if they planned, don’t have good medical insurance. Medical bills can pile up so fast especially for complicated chronic illness or severe acute illness or injury requiring care.
Bitter single women who always cry that. She was abroad alitaka amtue kshs to dollars na watoto walikua wakisomea US before na US ni free education
I would never blame a parent who goes above and beyond to offer the best possible life to their kids. Kuna wazazi wanauliza watot “wewe ndio natafutia?”. I have a lot of respect for parents who would rather stay broke but ensure their children are getting the experiences they never got to enjoy. Pole sana but she gave her kids everything. There’s no shame in that.
The people criticizing her drive V8s and buy apartments for their mpango wa kandos but their kids are in public school. Those same people want to lecture those who would rather drive a vitz and live in Kamulu but their kids go to Peponi?
Maumbwa izi!
@Kodiaga unaskia???
I can give you free advice especially kama wewe ni mtu anajijenga kama mimi a.k.a “birrionea” sio billionaire. The first mistake most middle class and upper middle class do is go to expensive private hospitals especially when treating chronic illnesses (long-term illnesses that don’t have a cure). For chronic illnesses, zoea tuu kwenda public hospitals. Kama uko na pesa kidogo use the private wing of the public hospital. The private wing ya KNH has very decent private rooms and even the shared wards are somewhat decent. They also cost a fraction of what you would have spent at Aga Khan/Karen Hospital/Nairobi Hospital etc.
See, most middle class and upper middle class bonobos start by treating chronic conditions at private hospitals bila kufikiria long-term. Because the issue is chronic, it drains their money faster than they earn it until the patient succumbs. Usually, they tap out when they are on the brink of bankruptcy and that’s when they move the patient to the public hospital where they should have started in the first place.
I’m not against using private hospitals for non-chronic issues, and if you are truly wealthy. For 99.99% of the population, the money you save is worth more than what you would have earned in a day’s work anyway. Unapeleka mgonjwa public anafanywa tests na 10k yet the same tests would have cost 40k at one of those posh hospitals or labs. How many people earn 30k/day considering that that’s the amount you have saved? I have aging relatives and I have saved millions just by having them use public hospitals waweke kiburi chini.
Nonsense..Just take your kids to schools you can afford..There are parents succumbing to depression and sinking to debts for taking their kids to international schools which they can’t afford ..Those international schools have a target group..Unajifanya unaeza peleka mtoto shule moja na minister while you are one pay cheque or medical bill away from poverty
We mjinga ata hujaelewa post
I hope my wealthy ex’s parents get bankrupt in this exact manner, I’m tired of stalking and seeing her enjoy life without me in exotic locations Amen

Like I said in an older post, being rich and making out of Kenya and being in Europe/US ndio beginner level ya watu ambao walizaliwa huko.
So “fancy” shit that most Kenyans haven’t experienced like taking airplane trips and vacations in different countries is just a regular experience to people in functional countries. Multiple cars per family is regular to them. One car is a luxury item for Kenyans, to americans it’s a 16 year old’s transport tool.
Hiyo yote kusema, one of the more well-off people in our country dying like an unattended dog shows what a shithole we live in.
