"Manpower Reliance" agency for Canadian Jobs. Is it another Hoax?

There is an agency in Nairobi that is collecting applications and money from Kenyans for jobs in Canada. Is this for real? To the best of my knowledge, the Canadian government does not outsource for its labor requirements.

After foreign minister Mutua sent out the false announcements that there are millions of jobs for grabs in Canada, I have seen several such companies online

Apply for those jobs directly in Canada. Save your sorrows.

Not for me. I am firmly settled. Someone is raising funds this weekend to support an application they made through this company. The radar in me says this is shady. The company’s online presence seems to be maid jobs in the Arabian peninsular. Canadians are generally straight shooters in matters labor. They don’t rely on briefcase companies

Bandit country. There must be a connection between Mutua’s announcement and the planned scams.

A big scam. Western countries don’t ever rely on “agents”, they do their paperwork themselves. The only agents who are legit are TLS Contact and VFS and those are for visa applications only. For jobs, they don’t.

I am conflicted whether a company operating from here has the capability to recruit me into employment in Canada. You be the judge

Manpower has so many scandals of swindling watu wanataka kuenda majuu ni kama kuexpect lanye akuwe vajo…wachana nao kabsa

saa hizi Mutua anajifanya hajaona hii thread na ni Talker

Nimewachia hapo kwa Manpower reliance

Fast Forward 2025 uskie Manpawa Reliance is linked to Mutua.

What baffles me is that people pay an agency to help them process papers and visas. What they dont know, is that the money they are paying to am agency can be directed to other uses because they can do all the paperwork themselves without needing an agency. Its also the way a person pays someone 500/- to apply a passport for him yet you can do it yourself at the comfort of your house with a laptop and an internet connection.

Kuna places hauwezi enda bila agent…mayuu sio kachmega priis

You dont need an agent to apply for a visa. How many people have gone to the US without agents? Unless you applied for a job through that agent. Tukuwe realistic kidogo.
