Serem’s basic salary is
sh.740,927, 34%of this is sh 251,915.18. Her pay rise alone
is 5.47 times a doctor’s salary. She did not have to go to
court or go through public scrutiny and have her name
dragged through the mud to get her pay rise. And she has
the audacity to complain about a ballooning wage bill?

The president said that his salary, that of his deputy and cabinet secretaries would be reviewed downwards, how did that go? Was it implemented?

SRC weighed in all experts advices on coming up with a formula that suits our GDP standard. But in most African countries believe me professional believe in getting paid so high in sacrifice of other factors in society.
And just bcos an individual illegally takes public funds which were ment of other expenditures does not justify that it should be paid to doctors or whoever. May be if they worked hard as supposed more Kenyans get well an go back to work and they get to pay more taxes.
