A man committed suicide after stabbing his girlfriend to death in Tassia estate on Tuesday night.
Police said the man, Edwin Mandera, 26, stabbed his girlfriend Deborah Kerubo, 20, to death at her parents’ house in Tassia Estate.
He then returned to his house in Pipeline Estate where he took poison.
Embakasi OCPD said that the deceased left behind a suicide note claiming responsibility for the death of the girlfriend.
Ms Kerubo’s father, Douglas Nyagena said that he went back to the house from work and found her daughter lying in a pool of blood with stab wounds on the stomach.
Moments later, he received information that the boyfriend had also committed suicide.
