The body of the late Mama Lucy arrived at JKIA at 20 minutes to six this morning.
With peasants still asleep President Uhuru was already at JKIA to receive former President Kibaki.
Uhuru has declared three days of national mourning in honor of the late Mama Lucy.
What is expected during the 3 days of national mourning? Do we fast, pit on sack clothes, abstain from sex or what exactly?
An iron lady. She paraded the most powerful man on media and made him make a statement no man can. RIP.
Same question I have been asking myself
She exemplifies strong women who won’t be pushed over. She was stronger that ten men
ile comment ya jirani imeenda wapi???
protocol is a maafaka. Sasa unye had to wake up at odd hrs to go “pick” karoocy? Ama they just picked him from a pub and took him to jkia, then back to continue enjoying his fave poison?

R.I.P to her and condolences to her family. However, Mama Lucy was no strong woman she was just autocratic. The only strong woman I know in Kenya is Wangari Mathai. Mama Lucy achieved nothing in her lifetime. She will only be remembered as the first lady and the drama she caused.
Kenyatta’s and Kibaki’s go way back in the days . It’s more personal than official.
maybe even that is why Kibaki chose an early morning arrival away from the public eye; he comes across as an intensely private person and if he had his way would have opted for a private funeral
Not true, that has to do with KQ flight schedules. Ask @Okiya.
Yes. after sale of the prime LHR morning slot, KQ nowadays arrives in London late afternoon, meaning the return flight to Nairobi leaves LHR in the evening to arrive in Nairobi at 5am
she brought up three sons and a daughter…that should count for something…
And your tax money catered for Wangari as well as Lucy’s funeral.
On a national scale will you have achieved anything to be granted such recognition?
RIP Muthoni.
i meant something for the country like what Margaret is doing
what are you doing for your country?
currently i am paying my shares of very high taxes
she did too, i guess…
She was at the forefront na mambo ya HIV AIDS awareness na FGM.
