UPDATE: The late Makueni County CEC for Trade, Marketing, Industry, Culture, and Tourism, Dr Sonia Nzilani, died from cardiac tamponade (fluid buildup in the sac surrounding the heart), according to an autopsy report.
Lead pathologist Dr Ancient Kituku confirmed that Nzilani had been diagnosed with the heart condition 12 years ago and had been on medication ever since.
