Plan B…

Kuna mtu aliniambia hapa ati hii kitu ilimezwa na corruption… but anyway.

It’s important to setup cold storage facilities so you can have mangoes year long. And also teach farmers how to plant so each month from a different farmer is harvesting and another is planting.

But if the plant is plumping tomatoes what’s wrong? It’s keeping people at work…

It does not work like that, mangoes have seasons which depends on location na utapata they all basically are harvested around the same time in makueni county…

cold storage is not necessary since it’s not like they are dealling with an over-supply issue, if they are pulping everything when mangoes are in season, may be they think of importing mangoes from other regions to keep the machines and workers running when off - season

whatever works

Tangible projects that have a direct impact on the farmers pockets.

So itakua inauzwa as canned ama? Thats going to be pricey

it can be exported or competed with the imported ones “we” are forced to buy here

Sasa nyanya zinatengeneza nini?

Pulp … Concentrated fruit juice.
Used for making the “ready to drink” juices we are used to, or those that require some dilution.
They are pricey in the export market…
But can also be sold to local juice manufacturers like Afya (Rugendo guy) among others…
