That is the question I keep asking myself. Qwani hatuna scientists, epidemiologists, and other whateverists that we can use to verify that whatever comes our way, in terms of vaccines, ppes, etc can be validated to safe and secure for our consumption and use? But then again on second thought, I recall that our own leaders import poisoned sugar and contaminated rice and kebs can do nothing about it. I don’t know if tz is that rotten but kenyans can be poisoned by those masks and vaccines and they would probably never suspect and discover it.

Magufuli could be right. Beware of a sick man who donates items to you “to protect you” from the sickness he is suffering. Iran also banned vaccines donated by the west saying such earlier vaccines were found to be contaminated with HIV.
I have to agree that our use of intel is misguided, blunt, and partial in some aspects. Magufuli has also upgraded TZ’s infrastructure big time and reduced pilferage and corruption; the govt (rather than foreigners) is firmly in control of mineral revenues and negotiates hard on any deals. Their SGR, for instance, is much better and cheaper than KE’s. Nonetheless, living in a society where you feel as though you’re being ‘watched’ and freedom of speech is nonexistent isn’t fun, to me at least. He even wanted to remove term limits until the old guard (former presidents) pushed back.
