I don’t like how liberally you throw around the word invent. We don’t have the necessary support system to spur and grow invention. If in doubt, just check the statutes for any enabling piece of legislation supporting local assembly of most items we import. We don’t. Instead we have multiple busybodies waiting to license and levy you to death.
