Hello KTalkers. I would like to know your take on venturing into equipment rental business, where mayb i can let the owners signup and i get them job for their equipments, how is this field and what are the barriers to it or any other relavant information you might know about equipment rental business.

Earthmovers & asphalt laying equipment. (Excavators, dozers, rollers, paver)
This industry is full of brokers just like any other. The biggest barrier is actually building a network of customers and knowing equipment owners, secondly, actually finding work. First, work on finding jobs, and then now work backwards identifying equipment owners etc. Its cut throat. Nowadays, equipment isn’t leased out on credit, there are many crooks out there. I’d say they put with something small like a backhoe tractor and build up.
