Real Madrid C. F., its President and its Board of Directors would like to express their sincere sadness over the passing of Luis Suárez, one of the greatest legends of Spanish and world football, and the first and only Spanish player to win the Ballon d’Or in 1960.

Real Madrid would like to express its condolences and affection to his family, his teammates, his loved ones and all his clubs.

Luis Suárez played for Deportivo de La Coruña, F. C. Barcelona, Inter Milan and U. C. Sampdoria.
