LUCID DREAMING

I’ve been having lucid dreams for about 2 weeks now. Where I can control my actions in the dreams. It is strange but am beginning to like it. Yesterday I had a chilling nightmare, today I had a re-union with my high school friends in a foreign country where they work, live etc. Some of them even came with their spouses.

These dreams are so real and detailed, you’d think they’re true. I can choose the course of these dreams, it’s like being in a movie. One distinct feature is that I can interact with people who were erased in my recent memory…like someone I last interacted with about 8 years ago and can easily recall their name when I wake up.

Most of the lucid dreams occur after I’ve woken up at around 4.45-5 am for a 30 min morning run then on going back to bed at around 5:50 is when they start. I’ve seen an excerpt on the same phenomenom. Here it is…

Wake, Back to Bed.
“The next night I step it up a notch. Morley calls this the “Wake, Back to Bed” approach. I set my alarm for two hours earlier than I normally get up—6 a.m. Based on sleep cycles, this should put me firmly in REM sleep territory, the best time for dreaming. If we interrupt this time by waking up we have a good chance to begin dreaming as soon as we fall asleep again. The key is you need to stay up for an hour to “starve” yourself of your dream time before you go back to bed, this makes your brain hungry for dreaming and allows you to quickly drift back into REM sleep, which is when vivid dreams happen.”

One strange dream I had was about my friend and her girlfriend. Well, he’s not my best friend but we interact. So in this dream my friend was on the verge of a breakup with her girlfriend, and in the dream I clearly recall this girl telling me that she regrets wasting her time dating this guy and leaving her previous man for him. One week after the dream, the two had broken up. I just came to know this through social media and when another friend came to tell me about the news, I told him I dreamt about it. He thought I was trolling him.

Any other Lucid dreamers out there?

This is interesting. Funny enough though, a friend of mine has such dreams too one too many times and now believes that he can somehow foretell someone future. :D:D…

He may be a medium. I have another friend who’s a medium; when she dreams, they come true. But somehow when she dreams that something bad is to happen, she prays and they do not occur.
Personally I do not usually have premonitions and the latest case shocked me, however, am a victim of the Deja vu effect. Maybe some dreams that I forgot about coming true?
ion: You were missed.

I have this dreams all the time. I like writing code and most of the time I am able to write code in my dreams and even tweak it in my dreams too. I usually wake up in the morning and be on my computer as I have break fast. If I had an issue with the code the previous day I will always wake up with the solution after working on it in my sleep.
Interestingly, i realised the brain picks up on a lot of things in this case lets say if you are dating. The brain picks up on several micro expressions that you may have missed during a face to face. I find that i revisit this interactions in my sleep and kind of review her responses. No wonder I am so good at reading females. I could be a psychopath for all I know.

Anzisha biashara…hehe:D:D:D ion: Glad to be back! Had missed this village!!

The brain is a very powerful organ

Very much…but sometimes you wake up very tired after having this dreams.

A medium is not a witch.
