Be it UAE or QTR or KQA or IYE or MDG or BAW or SPRINGBOK or ETH or KLM…Most of these engines if not all are Rolls Ryce. So when a KQA aircraft makes an emergency landing due left(starboard) or port(right) engine failure, don’t give a damn. Any else of an airline you think is best can Jam. Engines are same.
maintanance/service makes a lot of difference
Engine maintenance Engineers with type ratings are here. A KLM,ETH,QTR,UAE,RWD IYE etc n other national carriers are maintained by KQA engineers. Hata speedbird…Briton air carrier. Anything about flying address it to me
A B733-800 KQA engineer will maintain a Qatari craft same type. Arrangement…country to country
General Electric?
KQ is IOSA certified, maintenance follows the highest standards.
What we must all know is that aircraft maintenance is not like a car, there are checklists and manuals to follow.
And for those who think the aircraft would crash due to a single engine failure. those aircraft are designed to take off with one engine at maximum take off weight.
EEh ni mingi
Pratt & Whitney kwanza ni mob, Ivchenko etc.
B733 ndiyo gani tena? Engineers are under constant pressure to release aircraft, management at times ignoring MRO…
An Engineer’s motto, “Accidents dont just happen they are caused!”
Pratt and Whitney?
There are a host of other aircraft engine makers especially for smaller private aircraft.
Even without two engines, a plane can still fly it has some reserve power.
Mahali naeza comment hapa iko related na ile movie ya Denzel inaitwa Flight!
Did you see ile time the engine blew up, alafu akaambia co-pilot Right engine failure, blow it out, we are going to glide??? Hapo movie inakuwanga imeenda 32 mins na imebaki 1 hr 6 mins iishe
And the arm wrestling of Boeing and Airbus continues to make Engineers crazy money
You mean gliding, but for how far?
Whats a B733??? I dont know all models but I have a feeling that there is no Boeing commercial airplane model like this.
K-Talk aviation experts. Naona mnaelewa maswala ya urubani.
:):):)
Did you intend to mean gliding? How far can it glide?
(Please take not of the corrections to your grammar)
If the plane is high enough and the pilot skilled… He/ She can take control of the aircraft, the thrust changes from engine power to gravity+weight. The idea is to pull up (to gain lift) and methodically push down(to add speed inorder to prevent stalling) the nose of the plane .
It has been done in the past by a skilled captain, watched it on aircrash investigation. Remember for the perfect glide Lift=Drag.
Hebu niulize, wewe ni KAF,KN ama?
@admin, si tufungue a consultancy firm. The level of expertise in this village could make us some top dollar. Kuna medical experts, legal minds, aviation experts, governace specialists, security experts na kadhalika. munaonaje?
