Looking to buy my first car. My budget is between 600 and 650k and I’m going for Toyota. Most models I’m coming across on OLX are Toyota NZE from year 2000 to 2007 with mileage between 80,000 to 150,000
Any leads you can give me to chase? Or good physical places to look at? What should I be aware of? Help a brother!
…on olx…be very careful. i can provide you a brokers no…mwenye amenitafutia mbili so far. ukuwe tu na pesa ya commission. as of mileage, i personally dont use that as a determining factor because those extra ordinarily low mileage cars yet ni mzee are clocked backwards such that gari ina 250000km inanyongwa inasema 45000km. look at the body, engine kama inatoa smoke, look for leakages. ask for history of the car.
A toyota NZE for a first car would be a good decision, I personally owed it before I moved to a Subaru. Low cost vehicle I would say and as said earlier, if you look at the low mileage you just confusing yourself.
Don’t rush kununua gari kama huihitaji. Utalia sana ukinunua used halafu ianze kukulalamikia inahitaji parts mpia…ianze kuleak. Ukitaka vizuri chapisha hio gari cat wheel kwa barabara alafu udai gari ingine mpya na pesa za insuarance…:D:D
1500cc NZE will have been driven all over the world. Tafuta NZE Luxel. It has a 1800cc 1zz-fe. People who buy luxel are not regular hustlers from you know where and it is therefore not used as a taxi. kanakimbia pia. You can even get an axio Luxel.
I can only dissuade you from buying a toyora. Many other models to consider and people arguing on the grounds of resale value require a mathematics tuition refund.
I tried offering this advice to a friend akakataa so h went and bought an allion. that car is in and out of the garage every three months. Here was my rationale at the time
Buy a Honda stream 900k and resell it at 700k after taking a 200k hit or
2, Buy Allion at 1.2k and resell it at 800k and take a 400k hit
Kidogo akaanza kusema sijui spares are easily available, sijui mechanics wako everywhere in the country mi nikamwacha. The guy has spent over 100k on his car and did an engine change which cost him 50k.
