Jana I got home and found one Tyre of my other German automobile punctured.Decided to change it before retiring to the house to chill and sleep. It has a lock nut for securing the 20 inch alloy rims.Unfortunately I was unable to find it anywhere in the car including the boot where I normally put it.It was around 8pm and I want to believe I couldn’t find it coz it was already dark and there is a possibility it is hidden in one of the crevasses in the car.
Planning to go home early and look for the lock nut key properly so that i can change the tyre,In the unfortunate event that I am unable to find it,is there a way of removing the special nuts without using the lock nut key?Hii kitu inastress Enigma.Any help will be appreciated.
mbisha ? tuone ya lock nut
Enda Kirinyaga road ununue ni 200
Thanks, swala nyeti ni how do I remove the ones on the tyres without the lock nut key?
Mbisha sina sai, hadi nirudi home mabadae
Pliers na nyundo ama wrench…did that nikaspend time mob sana yet kwa shop was easy to find. So the shop route ni better
If you can’t find it or a similar one from kirinyaga road as suggested, just call a welder
I saw some video a while back on youtube on how to remove locknut…you can search it
What do you mean the shop route? What did you buy at the shop that you used?
Wee mzee, naona hii kitu imekupea stress
fill up the tire with a pump, then with the slow puncture go to Quest auto parts they have a set of keys that they will use to open. Alternativley kuna mechs hujua kutoa hiz vitu but gari itagongwa nyundo kwa lock mpaka utashtuka but eventually itatoka.
Thanks sana sana sana.Nimepitia Quest around 11am.I hope you are referring to the shop located kwa Junction ya Baricho road. They told me I send them a photo to confirm if they have coz they need to see the images first.Once they confirm I will find a way of having them removed and terraced with the new one.
I have checked out some youtube stuff and it seems like it’s possible to have them removed using a wrench and a socket.I have a tool box with some sockets I bought a very long time ago while drunk in Nairobi West. Will try and locate it and use the same methodology.Nikishindwa ntatafuta mech.I will really not like it if the rims are damaged in the process banae.
Yes that exact Quest. I get my stuff from there
All german and most other European marques use a bolt and hub design rather than a lug and nut. Now it has finally been debunked. @Agwambo drives a Japanese jalopy
Yes,its a bolt and hub design but the one for securing the tyre can only be unscrewed using a special nut.Not that it matters but Enigma has never been inside a Japanese jalopy since 2015.Japanese jalopies gani hizo odometer zinafika 260 wee mzee.
I rest my case, bwana enigma Agwash

Ambia fundi achomelee chuma kwa hiyo lugnut. Then use a tool to turn the welded nut. But hapo lazima rim iwekwe scratches
