List of wild Guys I have met live and guys I would love to meet

  1. Male lion - I was I in Kampala at the Kabaka’s Palace at katwe, so the king was in a cage. Ironic? A very imposing guy, very majestic. I would love to see him in the wild. I have seen females, juvenile males and cubs when we had visited the Tsavo East, but not the king, who is much bigger and spectacular .

  2. Elephant - many times at the Tsavos. The closest encounter was on the road to Taveta. A whole tribe of probably 30, perhaps even more, had gathered At a watering hole at the parks exit near Taveta Town. Several huge individuals just stood on the road lazily flapping their ears and touching each other with their trunks. They made us wait for about 40 minutes and caused a sizeable traffic jam before they unhurriedly walked away one by one.

  3. Hippo - at Haller Park, Bamburi.

  4. Giraffe - Tsavo and Haller Park.

  5. Buffalo - Tsavo, from a distance.

  6. Leopard - in a cage in Kampala. You wonder how it easily hauls a 70 kg carcass up a tree? It’s because the bastard is surprisingly a big fella5, and a strong one!
Zebras, gazelles, wildbeasts, sungura , ostriches…

This bugger is no joke if you meet ana kwa ana vichakani. There’s an incident a US army guy who served in the Vietnam war describes, where a tiger entered their camp at night. Since they were sleeping in the open, guys were roughly woken up by a sudden growl and a man screaming, then several rifles opened up wildly into the darkness. When things quieted down a platoon member had already lost a large part of his shoulder to the beast. And they didn’t even wound it before it disappeared into the forest. They saved his life, but biceps zilienda tu hivo.

I was also surprised by how yuuuge those maned lions are.

Yeah! In pictures there are subjects that seem bigger than they are and others that seem smaller but are actually bigger. Others look big alright, but you got no idea how surprisingly big they really are!

I have seen all those
