Life Is So Full Of Surprises

So now niko down tu sana since month started and better part of last month then I get a call from a pal of mine (Snr IT Management g@v@), dude have issues as some of their data might have been compromised (sitaki maswali za huduma na kadhalika)… As a last option since am no longer employed, since am unemployable huku anyway. Server room access granted complete with the works (level 5 access card kwa shingo), ata breako bado sijawai.
Well, to cut the drama, I neutalized the compromise (si walikuwa wamedungwa mashindano kwa DiaBa). I walk off their building 250k richer by leo saa tano… What do you call that?? Needless to say. Am doing this in some lounge around Mfangano drunk on Henessey and deadly accompaniments after sending mom some hefty Mother’s Day goodies to mom (forget bae for now, by the time I stepped out of the crib ata she couldn’t look me in the eyes na madharau). If you know what happened and you are wondering why I had to spit this out… Go ahead and tell me off to your dongaz. After all, I just saved your arse off.:v:

yani hauna kibarua na tule tuchapaa umepata umeenda kukojolea…! Ni sawa tu.

Sio hivo brathe… Mpaka leo nikeshe tao though. Ku celebrate mpaka nayo. I was given some b/cards za nguvu hapo na wasito fulani so kama uko sawa na kuvaa kofia ya black au white. stay tuned.

250k nairobi chapaa kiasi sana ukiendelea ivo hautajua pahali zimeenda. Atleast umefanya poa kutumia matha kakitu kabla uanze kujiuliza zime enda wapi.

since am no longer employed, since am unemployable huku anyway.

Why?

Senior IT manager =@Retired Virgin

(ISC)2 (CISSP) and ISACA (CISM) MSc… Ni mshahara huwa hatupatani na wengi.

Funny but interestingly true… Dander kabisaaa!!!

Actually kuikojoa.

… Katika raha zangu brah. That is actually a mere score to what I could be getting per hour in SA, US, CANADA or UK.

Unataka kusema hakuna msee mwingine ako na qualifications kama zako ? Kweni what is the ideal salary for a person with your qualifications. …

Well, I didn’t say that I am the only highly certified white hat in KE… I have met good ones on forums and e-conferences. It depends na what you mean by the term ‘salary’… Us guys get remunerated on a hourly basis of a project we agree to undertake.

Usiringe na 250k sana, hiyo ni overtime ya watu wengine. There’s a guy who had a pen test company a while back sijui kuliendaje but he made serious money from protecting banking data. I’d be willing to bet the industry still has lots of demand. Use the money to start your own company, hackers wameongezeka kenya and you could even diversify all over east Africa.

hehehe, Nikujie lessons prriiisssss, mi najua PHOTOSHOP

Well, asante kwa mawaidha but sio ku ringa brah… The thought of making that amount in slightly less than 2 hours… Alafu in essence, hii pesa ni yenyu. Catch my drift. Thanks sana lakini.

:D:D:D

Approximately how much are these qualifications?

Dunno and doubt if they are offered huku in any case. Did mine manjuu and I would highly recommend you go abroad for either of them or do a distance learning (now applicable). All I can tell you is mine cost around USD 18000 (some 3 and a half yrs ago)… Of course, some other costs can be considered so just say kendo 2M (some other Unis hit 4M but it’s the same stuff we learnt anyways) and time will cost you 2-3 Yrs… Advise: Before undertaking ‘White Hat’ learning, it’s best to note that. It really needs HIGH concentration and focus, Africa is slowly coming to terms with the need of our like and I recommend you settle manjuu if you opt to proceed with it… Just saying.

Time to switch venue, never mind ulevi bado nakonjoa… Remember to keep your data safe (no data protection huku) and Server Admins, back up back up aight!! Off for a sensual massage (whatever that means, I just reserved via their site) at Parklands. PeaceOut!

Wonder why you are not already there?
