Police in Georgia, USA, are investigating the circumstances that led to the death of a 17-year-old Kenyan teenager, Yaron Kathuri whose body was found near Douglasville’s Arbour Place mall.

Speaking to 11Alive, a media outlet in Douglasville, Kathuri’s parents noted that their son exhibited signs of depression in the days leading to his disappearance on September 27.

His body was found in a reservoir on Saturday, October 22, more than a week after he had gone missing.

His mother, Vera Kathuri, told the outlet that she had comforted him before he disappeared by reassuring him that his family loved him.

Yaron had raised concerns about feeling like a burden to his family.

On the day of the disappearance, the teenager had left the house for school but never made it to the institution.

Instead, he had gone to the mall’s parking lot where he called his family who constantly pleaded with him to return home which he never did.
“I told him, ‘God has a plan for your life and he always has a good plan for you.’ I woke him up at seven the next morning and I prayed with him and held his hands, and prayed with him. And then he got ready to go to school…He said he feels like he’s a burden to us and I told him, ‘No, Yaron, you’re not a burden. You are a good child and we want to help you.’ And he kept saying, ‘I’m sorry.’ And then he was crying. So we kept trying to get him to just come home, telling him it’s okay. And the phone went silent after that. And that was the last conversation,” stated Vera.

Soon after, the family reported him as a missing person, and the frantic search to find him kicked off without any success.

On Saturday, however, his father Andrew Kathuri was informed that a body believed to be that of Yaron had been recovered near the mall.

He was scheduled to graduate from college in May 2023 but started experiencing anxiety roughly before joining his senior year at Chapel Hill High School.

He reportedly Google searched about anxiety symptoms and his family had assured him that they would provide him help.

Chris Christie’s Niece Kicked Off Plane After Accusing Passengers Of Smuggling Cocaine: Report
She reportedly boasted as she scuffled with deputies that she was related to powerful people.

A niece of former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was kicked off a plane in New Orleans last month after she asked passengers she believed were Latino if they were drug smugglers, according to law enforcement authorities.
She then “bit, kicked and spit on” Jefferson Parish sheriff’s deputies attempting to detain her after the incident on Thanksgiving Day at Louis Armstrong International Airport, Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Jason Rivarde told the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Shannon Epstein, 25, was on her way to New Jersey Nov. 24 when she asked a nearby family — whom she believed to be Latino — if they were “smuggling cocaine,” the newspaper reported.

Airline staff reportedly asked that Epstein be removed from the plane as she became increasingly “irate,” and the plane returned to the gate.
When deputies arrived, Epstein refused to exit into the terminal, and when they tried to arrest her she became “extremely combative,” Rivarde said.

During the ensuing scuffle, Epstein shouted that the deputies were going to lose their jobs or end up in jail, boasting that she was related to powerful people and that her uncle is a friend of Donald Trump, Rivarde said.
Six deputies were injured and were treated on the scene by paramedics, the Times-Picayune reported.
Epstein was charged with six counts of battery on a police officer, three of disturbing the peace, and one of resisting arrest by force, Rivarde said. She paid $10,750 bail and was reportedly released from the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center later that day.

She’s scheduled to appear in court Jan. 23.
Neither Shannon Epstein nor Chris Christie could be reached for comment on Saturday evening.

Self-proclaimed Mormon “prophet” had sex with underage wives’ father while forcing them to watch o_O:rolleyes::rolleyes:

A Mormon man who was arrested for allegedly having 20 wives, most under the age of 15, also allegedly had sex with the father of some of his wives while forcing them to watch.
Samuel Bateman was recently arrested after police discovered that he allegedly had 20 wives, most under the age of 15.

Police arrested 45-year-old Samuel Bateman and charged him with kidnapping and sexual abuse of minors after allegedly discovering evidence of his misdeed. Bateman is a self-proclaimed prophet of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS), a Mormon sect that practices polygamy, the custom of having more than one spouse at a time.

In 2019, Bateman reportedly enlisted about 50 followers and, over the next three years, he allegedly convinced his male followers to give over their own spouses and daughters to become his wives, KREM reported.

Police say that Bateman and his followers transported minors across state lines to have sex with him in hotel rooms in Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and Nebraska.

Investigators formed a case against Bateman from documentary footage a couple shot of him and his wives.

The footage allegedly included audio of Bateman giving several of his underage wives to three male followers for sex.

In the recording, Bateman allegedly told the girls that they had “sacrificed their virtue for the Lord” based on instructions from their “Heavenly Father.” In response, the crying girls reportedly said it was “a privilege to hurt for someone else so they can rise.”

Court records state that Bateman also drank wine and had sex with a male follower named Moroni Johnson in a Lincoln, Nebraska motel room.

Bateman reportedly called the sex the “binding of brothers” and forced some of Johnson’s daughters to watch while standing nude alongside his other naked and older wives.

In August, police arrested Bateman in Arizona for child endangerment. While in prison, he allegedly called one of his young wives and told her to “delete every message right now” from his Signal account, an encrypted messaging app. While his family bailed him out, police arrested him again two weeks later for the destruction of records and tampering with evidence.

Arizona authorities took nine of Bateman’s underage wives to the state Department of Child Services, but eight of them ran away.

Police believe that three of Bateman’s older wives drove the eight girls to an Airbnb in Spokane where police intercepted them.

After attempting to drop multiple hints to his neighbor, one man decided to take the time out of his night to go to his neighbor’s house and reveal some bad news.
To maintain his anonymity, he faced himself away from the camera and even tried to divert attention away from the location of his home in case he got in the middle of his neighbor’s potential marital spat.

The man told his neighbor that his wife was cheating on him through a Ring camera after noticing worrying signs.
Derek Lipp (@dereklipp_) posted the original video of the first incident on December 14, 2022, and instantly gained an exponential amount of virality — receiving over 35 million views.
“Hey, I live in the neighborhood. My WiFi name is ‘1744 Your Wife is Cheating,’” the neighbor who is hiding behind his hoodie says into the Ring camera. “I don’t know how you did not catch on, your address is 1744.”

The mysterious neighbor continues, explaining the things he sees every day when the other man, unclear if it’s Lipp himself, leaves for work.
“Every day, when you leave for work, a Nissan parks three houses down, walks up the side of your house, and goes in your back door,” he reveals.
“I assume you don’t have cameras back there. Okay, your wife is smart, but she is unfaithful,” he continues explaining. “I’m going to walk this way, but I don’t live this way.”

He then flees the scene.

Viewers who watched the video commended the man for looking out for his fellow men.
“THE BRO CODE IS STRONG WITH THIS ONE,” one person said, as another writes “Automatically the best friend for life no matter how long I’ve known you.”
Others joked about the last thing he said, pointing out that his house wasn’t in the same direction that he was walking, calling him ominous and mysterious.
Many even joked that after this video, he got in a Nissan and drove three blocks away, pretending to be the man he was referring to.
However, many people were incredulous about the situation and wanted updates on what happened after someone in the home played back the video footage from the security camera.

Lipp posted an updated video, claiming that the mysterious neighbor had it all wrong.
In the second video, the man returned to the security camera and apologized for the night before.
“Hey I just wanted to apologize for last night,” the hooded man said. “I know I probably shouldn’t have broken the news like that, but I had a few drinks.”

The husband inside the home confirms if it’s the same guy by asking if he was the one who tried to warn him by changing his WiFi password, prompting the other man to reaffirm everything he said the night before, hoping that he could offer some clarity to his wife’s infidelities.

“Okay, so you got a few things wrong there,” the husband says.
“The wife is actually the one who is driving and going to work and the guy is for me, and yes, he does come in my back door.”o_O:rolleyes::smiley:

Understanding the innuendo being implied by the husband, the stranger expressed his shock and apologized for his former misunderstanding.
Fortunately, the husband was thankful for the stranger’s revelation, claiming that he “didn’t have the courage” and calling what he did “life-changing,” maybe implying that the stranger did him a service by giving him a way to come out to his wife.
The stranger said he was glad he could help but apologized once again, heading off on his merry way in a different direction than the night before.
One of the comments under this update video, which was viewed over 14 million times, echoed the sentiments of everyone else who followed along with the story — “this plot twist was crazy.”
Several people in the comments pointed out that the video was likely staged, but others continued to suspend their disbelief, claiming that they wished all neighbors could be like the stranger with the hoodie.
