Instead he is doing nonsensical things and demands that you, the lady, stick around and mother him in getting his shit together. You’ll find him descending into alcoholism. But what can you expect from boys whose greatest endeavor is watching football?
He waits till the end of campus to look for a job, instead of getting productive in his final two years. He was still boasting to his friends all the types of liquor he knows while you as a lady long moved from hanging around campus boys. You followed opportunity that unfortunately these boys don’t seek.
When they see you thrive as University comes to a close, they say you slept for it. lol.

So the boy gets out of univ with no skill except pooling money for alcohol but still expects the world to fall on his laps. He wants a hot woman to wash after him, to boot. Confused and desperate he goes to look for further certifications (read - hang out with the same clique) instead of looking for experience in interning and volunteering. He becomes bitter because obviously things don’t work out for him, he doesn’t think smart.

He gets to his 30s without convincing a woman that he is dependable for life, that he can head a partnership. So he decides all women are evil. lol

That is the sad truth.
