DIDDY TRIAL - WEEK THREE - DAY THREE
Diddy, the spaghetti thrower! New name alert
If youâre wondering how the name came about just keep reading.
So it was the final part of Deonteâs cross examination by the defence.
Remember Deonte, Cassieâs effeminate stylist who brought a lot of sass to the court room?
Also, a private witness called Mia took the stand.
The feds warned that no one should put out her identity. Mia isnât her real name.
CROSS EXAMINATION OF DEONTE
The defence brought up Deonteâs friendly interactions in texts with Diddy, after heâd stop working for him.
Heâs so bad to you and Cassie, and you were still writing him nice messages?
He said despite Diddy not being a nice man he doesnât hate him nor does he have a problem with him.
Then the defence tried to paint the picture that Cassie kept certain things about her supposed âhorrible relationshipâ away from him.
EXHIBIT: A text message from Cassie to Deonte, while she was vacationing in Mexico with Diddy.
Deonte said âyouâre always out of townâ
She replied, âI deserve itâ
The Mexico trip happened not long after Diddy b#at her up at a red carpet event.
So the defence was like, âdid she tell you she was going on a fun trip?â More like, Deonte saw only the parts of Cassieâs life that she wanted him to see.
Itâs how the defence be struggling to make small things seem big before the jury.
Meanwhile, the Mexico vacay is the least Diddy could do for her after the be°@tiĎgs.
Another weak attempt the defence made was mentioning Deonte hooking Cassie up with Michael B Jordan.
Dude owned it and did a hair flip on the stand (I told you he was sassy).
He said ânow yâall look, your client (Diddy) was messing with Gina and having my girl look cr@zy. Michael B Jordan is fine, Cassie is fine, so I hooked them up.â
Laughter erupted in the court room.
The defence attorney goes, âCassie was she pressed about Gina, right?â
Deonte rolled his eyes and said âthat isnât the point, Diddy is out here embarrassing Cassie, I told my girl she needed to move on to the next dxxk.â
See, this flamboyant gay man stood out from other witnesses.
While others witnesses were crying and sharing difficult testimonies, he humanized the situation by making everyone laugh.
Talking like he didnât give a damn, like being in the court room was just another day in his life.
I believe his personality resonated with the jurors. Everyone wants a loyal friend like him whoâll stand up for them like he did Cassie.
Youâd want to see such a person succeed in a case like this.
The defence further attempted to prove that Cassie didnât share everything with him.
He retorted, âshe doesnât have to tell me, sheâs a grown woman. I donât tell her everything I have going on.â
My source said two black female jurors exchanged knowing glances.
A sign that they connected with him!
MIA (MISS ANONYMOUS)
She walked in with a bunch of girls, just in case the camera captures her you donât know which is her.
At first she was mumbling to herself on the stand and wonât look at the jury.
Acting afraid and traumatized.
She said she used to work for him as he personal assistant, 2009 to 2017.
He interviewed her at his house. She opened the door, he was in nothing but his underpants.
She said she was excited to get the job. Worked 24 hrs a day, didnât know when she could sleep, earned 50k a year.
The work environment was chaotic and toxic, there were highs and lows.
Prosecution: What was the biggest thing about Diddy?
Mia: His mood was all over the place.
Prosecution: Has he been violent with you?
Mia: Yes, he would thrâw things at me. He once threw an ice bucket on my head.
She said one time Diddy took her phone, she was so scared because sheâd been talking negatively about him with other employees.
So she ran and followed him into a bathroom, he sl@m-mâŹd her hand in the door and managed to lock her out while with her phone.
Some assistants didnât last 6 days. So for a while it was just her.
âSome days he treated me like a friend, some days like a piece of cr@:p, call me steeewpâd and incompetent and throw things at me.â
Mia said she was really close to Cassie and the relationship between Diddy and Cassie was unequal.
Diddy, Michael B Jordan, Deonte
Diddy and Cassie will be in the hotel and call her to bring stuff.
By now you can guess his needs⌠Exactly. Baby oil, Astroglide, candles, and sheâd clean up after them.
One time at 3 am, he asked her to go get everybody downstairs for a meeting.
He was in the kitchen eating a bowl of spaghetti.
She said she was on her pâŹriod, she needed to quickly change her p@d.
He thâew the bowl of spaghetti at her while she was blâŹÂ°âŹding down her leg and said âget the fffk out!â
(If it feels like a whirlwind of events, youâre not alone. Diddy was one hell of a character)
So she ran and hid in a corner and called the HR, who said, ''Iâm sorry that happened to you but we have to put you on suspension cos thatâs what Diddy wants"
I learnt in the court room Diddy was busy passing notes to his lawyers and acting like she wasnât there. Until this part
THE SâA
She broke into tears,
"I was sleeping in the guest room upstairs. The door was unlocked (theyâre not allowed to lock doors in his house)
I woke up and he was on t0p of me, he put himself inzyde.
It lasted very quick."
Mia said she was crying and terrified.
(Now Diddy was shaking his head vigorously as if she was lying)
Another time, she was in her room closet getting ready to go to a meeting.
Diddy appeared from nowhere, stroking hi-s p++++, and made her guwq guwq on it.
Several times more after that.
Prosecution: Did you ever want to have zzx with him?
Mia: No.
What would you do when it was over?
I will just keep it moving.
Prosecution: Did you ever tell him this is not okay, I donât want to do this
Mia: No
Prosecution: Why?
Mia: I didnât say no because I couldnât tell him. If I told him no, heâd feel what he was doing was wrong and Iâll be punished for it.
But should we really be asking why people stay through these situations?
Itâs easy to advise someone to walk away when youâre not in their shoes.
With someone influential like Diddy who has the system backing him and industry connections, itâs HARD.
And then you have folks telling you how lucky you are to be in the corridors of power, friends and family telling you to not let the opportunity slip away.
Leaving might feel like a costly mistake that you do not want to happen.
Think about that before you judge any of the witnesses.
