Why not do Macadamia or Avocado instead?
Avocado is saturated. The Kinyarras will stiffle local farmers since wamepanda ekari kadhaa for export.

Great. Thank you man
Do it. When ripe, pulp, ferment, wash and properly dry in the sun and then deliver to the millers. Check the licences required cause the last time i checked, it required numerous licences.
This is exactly what i have been thinking about
If things haven’t changed, I think there is a minimum number of stems for you to get the licence to pulp your own coffee( dont remember the number), but you can always consolidate with other farmers. Def better money than delivering cherry.
I appreciate G. Let me keep learning from this thread
Consider single stem system for coffee farming …
1.strong trees
2.big and healthy berries
3.increased kgs per tree(90-130kgs per tree per season)
You can mill yourself ama unaweza peleka in a coffee factory in Embu specifically started for single stem farmers only …they pay well.
inaitwa aje hio factory?

Go for it but your location matters. Nyeri farmers are currently being paid an average of ksh100 per kg for red cherry. If you can pulp your coffee, you might get up to ksh200 per kg. This is replicated across Muranga and Kiambu and Kirinyaga.
Mkuu niliskia hii unapeleka, unangoja. Nobody knows when they will pay you. As such you can’t budget. They just wake up one day about six to eight month later they pay you.
