This year the celebration for Lent will begin withAsh Wednesday on 2 March and will culminate with Easter Sunday on April 17. During the 40 day period of Lent, Christians seek the Lord in prayer by reading sacred scripture and repenting on past sins. Lent is a period of almsgiving and somber reflection.
Hated this period, no instruments in church, then I don’t know who had told my grands no meat on Fridays
My friend what is Biblical foundation of this practice? All the activities are good but the lent and Easter might not have Biblical foundations… Or do they? I never thought that you were catholic…
