Lenovo Windows 11 installation

How do you guys install Windows 11 on Lenovo laptops?
Juu nimejaribu kuinstall on this Lenovo laptop na inaleta kichwa. It aint showing boot mode nikiwa kwa BIOS and also it doesnt show the hard disk as the location for the windows installation. It shows the usb only which has windows. I downloaded Windows from the microsoft website and made it bootable using the media creation tool. I have tried refreshing but bado haionyeshi hdd. Are all Lenovos this complicated juu HP and Dell usually install Windows smoothly without any problem.

You need to check EUFI settings and select EUFI or Custom. Bios is for old systems such as Windows 7 and below. Also check that that laptop meets the minimum Hardware requirements for windows 11

Nimepata solution. I have to use rufus to make windows 11 bootable since the laptop is a UEFI only firmware so boot mode doesnt appear.

News flash.
Nimedownload Windows 11 ISO and made it bootable using Rufus and it still brought the same problem. Nimeingia YouTube to an Indian Tech channel and I found the fix was downloading Intel RST driver from the Lenovo website and then using 7-zip to extract .inf from it and disabling Intel VMD in the BIOS functionality finally hard disk imeonekana. I dont know why Lenovo has made such an easy process to be this difficult. Ingekuwa HP or Dell I would be done hours ago na nishakula pesa. Fuck Lenovo!

The reason you can’t see your disk is because of the partition table used… either GPT or MBR. Windows 11 uses GPT which supports EUFI. So you need to either boot in legacy mode or EUFI mode. Also note, of you choose legacy make sure secure boot is OFF.

Laptop was showing UEFI mode only. I disabled secure boot but couldnt see boot mode. Anyway the fix worked.
