Before I joined Nairobi School I heard all sorts of stories and rumours about homosexuality. In my 4 years there I never saw even a single case. I know the school very well coz a relative was there. Your son is joining at the right time coz the school has been undergoing renovation and infrastructure development for the past 5yrs eg new swimming pool, new classes, sewer, dam, even a new golf course. The school also has a very strong alumni association both mzungus and locals that gives scholarships to disadvantaged boys. Some of old boys include Gideon Moi, CS Joe Mucheru, Sakaja, Junet Mohammed, Prof Kindiki Kithure and many many others. This is one of the best school your son could attend. Also in the future having Lenana School in his CV will take him places coz its very highly regarded and also the old boys are in many places of influence and the Lenana/Laibon fraternity continues even in the world of work and even abroad.
