Wadau I need advice about my laptop. Soon as I connect the charger, it indicates it’s charging and stops soon after and never resumes charging. What could be the problem?
the charging issue is probably due to the battery itself, or your lappy’s interaction with the battery .See if it powers up plugged in without the battery from there you can deduce the problem kama ni new battery ama charging portals

Batteries have an average lifespan of 5 years. Ay some point you have to get a replacement or permanently stay plugged in.

You can use a laptop without the battery as long as it is connected to the power brick and an outlet. but if the plug comes lose at all by just enough your system will turn off (ofcourse:confused::rolleyes:)and can damage files and the OS even.Remember not to touch the battery contacts when it’s plugged in:D

The lifespan of lithium ion batteries depends on the number of charge/discharge cycles, not years. If your battery is rated at 8000 cycles and you exhaust them in one or two years, shauri yako.
Mine has the same problem. I bought a new battery nothing worked.
