Wajanja, i have a problem with my comp, . Natumia win 10, nme dual boot na Ubuntu. Inashinda iki restart / shutdown ovyoovyo tu. Even when im actively performing some tasks, not sure whether ni windows or the hardware juu pia iko na overheating problem. Model ni hp probook 450g0

How did you partition your hard drive for Ubuntu? When running Win, just open task manager and see what’s going on. Before you open the unit, uninstall Ubuntu first (don’t worry, it’s free) and see if the laptop will behave differently. If it does, just get VMware and run Ubuntu virtually. Thermal paste may not be the issue (I recently posted a thread and thermal paste cured my problem, but won’t work it it’s a software/OS issue). My point is, don’t open up the unit unless you have an idea of what to do- it will be a waste of time and a chance that more stuff could go wrong.
I have a different partition for ubuntu. Minimal probability for that being the problem
