At this point her only lifeline is their First Past the Post election system and results can’t be contested/challenged in court. The real test is whether Tanzanians have the balls to go all the way.
Whichever way they dice it she has no mandate because people boycotted the election. And by extension even MPs and other contestants have no mandate.
Personally I liked how CCM had their house in order pre-2010. Their hold on power ensured clear vision, streamlined decision making, quicker project implementation, little to no conflict, policy consistency, quicker mobilization of resources etc. Nowadays it’s riddled with myopic corrupt hardliners with ZERO accountability and ZERO room for dissent.
If Samia survives she will claim this is her 1st term because took over after padlocks died. Then she’ll lord over Tanzanians mpaka 2035.

CCM having 270 MPs against Opposition’s 2MPs should be the big issue here. They can change the constitution to have her extend her term. What was witnessed is not even a protest worth talking about. Remember, Muslim leaders world wide are known to be Brutal. Mama Suluhu will show Tanzanians dust.

I highly doubt it.
Perhaps the bigger question is this; is it “Samia Must Go” or “Samia + CCM Must Go.” Those are two different scenarios.
Getting rid of Samia and CCM remains is like rearranging chairs in a sinking ship.

The military is divided. Apparently she packed the military cadre with Zanzibaris while the CDF is from the mainland. One of the airforce Captains who opposed the elections was thrown in jail prior to the sham poll. Ongeza the uganda factor, hapa TZ is a sneeze away from turning into Sudan.
Looks like JWTZ is siding with wananchi. Wananchi are advising each to stay close the JWTZ vehicles patrolling the roads and streets.
CCM has ALWAYS had this advantage. All mainland MPs have usually been from ONLY CCM.
