Iko mbaya sana kabisa. Seems all RV lakes are rising.
This could be a geological phenomenon…
Kambi ya elmolo.
All the RV lakes will continue rising and finally merge into a single sea. The sea will continue rising and finally merge with the ocean. Then Kenya will be split into two parts and the ocean will pass through the Rift valley
That can only happen through massive combined silting on all those lakes and continuous rain to cause the flooding and breaking of banks.
FYI. A while back, this year March, even Victoria had flooded on some parts. So I guess not unique to RV lakes
Hardly any permanent houses in lake Turkana so they can move to hogher ground as they sought their leadership
most of the RV lakes will continue to flood.
the plates (nubian and somali) are shifting
this will take time though
Some geologist gave that a few 100 years to happen.
True but nature is unpredictable and this might happen sooner than later
:D:D:Dchief hii sasa umetoa wapi
Research mdau
The only problem is that wasomi wa Geology are not actively sharing with us any research on this… perhaps waiting for the United States Geological Survey (USGS) to do so… a pity, isn’t it?

@ChifuMbitika
Something like 60% of .ke will disappear under water na lake victoria will be no more.
Perhaps they know something that they don’t want to share with the general public. Maybe a catastrophic consequence that no government can handle as a result of this phenomenon. Just like the USA government doesn’t want to disclose information about aliens.
Baaas! Hiyo sasa.
Now that is scaring
More than scary. Petrifying to say the least.
Mau forest encroachment = catchment degradation = RV Lakes busting and flooding. Cause and effect.
I don’t believe in the cheap theory of siltation and encroachment on water towers. A greater force is at play here
Ebu google ‘africa splitting’ then click images.
