Last evening my friend went shopping in Nakumatt Mega - Uhuru Highway. After the shopping the attendant helped her carry her shopping to her car. Helped her put the shopping in the car and he left back to the supermarket. Immediately she entered the car, even before she started the engine, a man from no where forced himself through the co drivers side to the car, threatening her with a knife and immediately handicapped her hands and forced her to seat in the middle of the behind seat.
The carjacker then took Langata road, in a few minutes he was driving along Kikuyu by pass. Somewhere on the way the criminal received a phone call and confirmed to the caller ‘‘amepata’’ and he was almost, this meant that the journey was almost coming to an end.
She had to think of a way of freeing herself from the carjacker. She started carefully pushing herself slowly backward towards the back left seat of the driver where she tired unlocking the behind door, she therefore timed when the the car got in bumpy road and where she could see some people around, said a prayer and opened the car door and threw herself out of the car.
Good Samaritans rescued her and took her to Karen police station, where she recorded a statement. As I post this article the car is still missing. Though she lost her car, documents and some money we thank God for saving her life.Its actually unthinkable what would have happened to her if they got to the destination, May be rape her, force her withdraw her money, or harm her, or even kidnap her and start asking for ransoms from her family the list is long, its only God’s mercy .This incident happened around 7pm last night.
LADIES there is no where we would say we are safe, let always be careful all the time.

Sio kukojolea post yako but how possible is this at the mentioned hour? Mark you one man is involved. How did he manage to force her to the back seat? Why in the middle of the hind seat and nowhere else? Good advice but please clarify.
