yesterday afternoon, i found a very heated debate and me being a father figure i was called in to give my views, the Bible in proverbs 16.3 says “Commit your works to the LORD And your plans will be established” this means that a man can be whatever he chooses to be in this life ,in the other hand, proverbs 10.3 says “Yahweh will not allow the soul of the righteous to go hungry” the above line shows that God has a plan that is already premeditated.
my question is,is there a possibility that God has already made a clear graph, path or a way for everyone and we as mortals,we have no say,or control over our own lives???.if you were meant to be a thief, hata kama ukuwa televangelist you will be a thief hata kama ni seed ya 310…if you were meant to be a murderer…hata kama ni lini you will kill someone hata kama ni using a ranger rover sports.if the above is righ, why do bad people change,e.g @kush yule mnono was a thief akiwa shule but now she is gentle and soft and a wife material,Atwoli was an Altar boy akiwa mtoi, present time ni highway robber,or FundaM who at his tender age was leader of C.U leader but today he is tribalistic and naughty…
surely, are we in control of our lives???
let me hear your views…
Back to your views.
On the other hand, how then can you be able to know that path that has been set for you if at all there’s no graph to refer to. Could it be that the’graph’ thing or the ‘path’ thing is all in your mind
Ecclesiastes 9:11 - King James Bible
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
Minor modifications may occur but the plan of god can not be changed. There is nothing like obsolute freedom otherwise prophesy would go unfulfilled and make god a lier
g @kush yule mnono was a thief akiwa shule but now she is gentle and soft and a wife material,Atwoli …
i always suspected this guy @wonder he nowwant to marry the wanker
think of life as a movie. God/Allah/Universe/Nature or whatever you call him is the writer, you my nigga is just a director. Just like one script can produce two different movies if directed by two different directors, so is life.
In life you can only direct but you can’t write
Now that this your god created you in his own image have you ever stopped to wonder? For instance how big are his balls? Does he wank since he has no wife/girlfriend? Are our night scenes one huge porn movie for him?
The truth of the matter is that God foreordained and PREDESTINED ALL of mankind, every man, woman and child to be conformed into the image of his dear Son, Jesus the Christ. This is the true INTENT of the word “predestination” in a Biblical sense.
God has good intentions for us. He has made both Heaven and Hell. Choose a righteous life to enjoy the good things in Paradise; choose sinful ways and you will experience the wrath of God. ( in Genesis Chapter 6 verses 3 He says 'My spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal…)This is after wickedness increased into the world and man after being banished from the Garden of Eden, had fallen into sinning full throttle.
Remember, our God is a democratic God. he gives us space to choose between what is good and what is bad. Though he is capable of controlling us, he gives us that freedom to choose our destiny.
The phrase above is conditional; For one not to go hungry, one must be righteous. You must be living right. You must be walking in the ways of The Lord. Even if you are wicked, when you turn to righteousness, God will be with you.
NB That does not guarantee that if you walk with God all will be rosy! Temptations are there to strengthen your faith.
Can you imagine if God decided for you everything, and i mean everything; time to eat, where to eat, what to eat, how to eat and when to eat. He’s not a trivial being. Its the reasons He lets you choose what to do.
However as per your quote, God chose Jeremiah to be a prophet even before he was born, same as David (the king) and Prophets like Samuel etc, He determined their path but not their destiny. They could choose to accept or refuse if they so wished (with consequences probably)
