The Students Organisation of Nairobi University (Sonu) chairman is currently being held at the station waiting to be arraigned in court.

Chris Obure was arrested on Wednesday for assaulting and causing bodily harm to Ben Alila Onyango, 30, at a club in Kilimani.

Mr Obure is accused of threatening Mr Onyango and another man with a gun outside B Club on December 31 last year.

is one allowed to enter into a club while armed??? we were once denied access to eneshapai (naivasha) coz our security team was armed.

Kenya is among the worst places for people to own guns. As a nation, we have this braggadocio symptom. From Mombasa to Kisumu, Moyale to Lokichogio, Kirinyaga to Magadi. The need to be “The man with the plan”, “Mzito”, “Kigogo”. People do things to look or feel powerful and above the rest. Mnasemaga tu school shootings in the US. Hapa Kenya citizens wangeeza shika Toof, shootings zingekua kila monday na closing day.
