Property developer Leonard Kanari, 35, accused of killing a former banker in a love triangle is today expected to answer to murder charges.
Kanari presented himself to Kasarani police station on Tuesday and surrendered a pistol he is said to have used in the murder of Christopher Adangi last Friday.
Kanari denied killing Adangi, whose family yesterday announced would be buried at his rural home in Vihiga on Saturday.
At the time of his death, Adangi was a director at Transunion Debt Management, Africa division. Kanari is alleged to have shot and killed Adangi at in Garden estate. The house belongs to Edna Kamau; a banker.
Nairobi police chief Japheth Koome said Kanari was a licensed gun holder. Koome said police reports state Kanari allegedly shot the man after he found him with his girlfriend.
