Banker shot dead in a love triangle
A senior bank manager with the Family Bank was Wednesday night shot dead in a cold blood suspected love triangle incident along Waiyaki Way in Nairobi.
The deputy director in charge of retail at the bank’s headquarters offices Peter Njuguna Mukuria, 43 was shot twice as he waited to pick up a woman who was walking from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology Campus near Kianda School along Waiyaki Way last wednesday.
Police and witnesses said Mukuria was shot in the neck twice by two gunmen who had forced their way into his car.
A guard who was near the scene of the shooting said the two gunmen had been standing next to where Mukuria had parked his Honda CRV waiting to pick up the woman.
“One of them had a can of beer that he seemed to sip and when the woman approached the car they also walked there and forced their way in. It was then that we heard gunshots,” said the guard.
Dagoretti Division police boss Mathews Gwiyo said the gunmen forced Mukuria to drive off before one of them pulled the trigger twice in the neck after driving about 30 metres away. The woman told police the deceased was a family friend and that one of the gunmen pretended to shout and ask what was going on when Mukuria lost control of his car after the shooting and rammed onto another car that was ahead of his.
And after the car stalled, the gang later walked out of the car without stealing anything from the victims. Police arrived at the scene and found Mukuria’s body still on the steering.
“We do not know the relationship between the deceased and the woman and the motive of the shooting so far but love triangle is one of the theories we are investigating,” said Gwiyo.
The woman is also a banker with a rival banking institution in Westlands area and she is married to a popular transporter in Dagorretti area.
Other witnesses said the car has been picking up the woman from the scene.
Gwiyo said a team of investigators is handling the case and intends to question a number of people as part of investigations to know the killers and motive.
Elsewhere, a taxi driver was Wednesday night shot and seriously wounded in a robbery incident in Ayani estate, Nairobi. The driver’s customers were also roughed up and robbed of their valuables in the incident that happened as he was dropping off them from the airpor when they were attacked.
Police say he was shot in the elbow and the gang escaped with valuables and cash.
No arrests have been made so far.
Bibi wa mtu sumu.If you must eat one peleka yeye place hidden kama hacienda pale ngara. No texting.Call her umshow uko room gani akuje huko direct. All drinks and food mletewe kwa room.Kula yeye then mtoke separately. There are mad Men out here who would do anything akijua mtu anadishi wife wake
Chances of being discovered are reduced, I guess is what he meant. But going to hacienda all the time is what will out him. Making eating another man’s wife a routine is what kills many men
And once you try, it’s hard to avoid the routine especially becz she is the one seated on the driver’s seat. She wants to make it a routine because she is wired to have feelings and since she is invested, she may not just move to another side relationship like nothing happened.
Idea ni kukuwa discrete ku minimize chance ya kujulikana mnakulana.Siku ya kukula ridhe ya matako ikifika utakula tu whether mmetoka lojo pamoja ama separate
Mbona mko too quick to judge. While the woman’s husband had the highest motive given the circumstances, there’s a good chance ata si yeye. It could be the guys wife, or someone else who was privy to the affair and could benefit in a way from his death while throwing suspicion out their way. Killers plan meticulously and consider various aftermath possibilities. If it wasn’t the woman’s husband, then whoever the suspect is must have fixed it to seem that way knowing how lazy shallow most murder investigations are. Unaeza pata @Yuletapeli is a simp who didn’t even know the wife was cheating, or even if he knew wouldn’t murder someone for it.
That said, always keep your affairs secret, especially from friends, family, and business partners who could benefit from offing you on the slightest chance while diverting suspicion to another possibility.
True, na gun men wakizidi kukaa mitini proving a link between husband and gunmen will be herculean. The first thing cops wataangalia ni phone calls na mpesa records ya jamaa, wasipopata kitu kesi ina-join zile zingine kwa unsolved pile
