Blessing tried to fool her followers after claiming she built the home eight years after her husband threw her out of their marital home. An embarrassed Blessing knelt down and admitted she did not own the seven bedroom mansion.

Just a day later, Blessing was accused of paying security guards so she could gain access to the compound and take photos of the house. Later, a few voice notes were released with a woman believed to be her saying she did not own the house but planned to build an identical house. Onye then decided to provide papers that proved he was the owner of the contested house and promised to make Blessing spill the beans.
