Wale hawajui meaning of carding here is definition
Carding Fraud:

Carding fraud is a type of credit card fraud where criminals use stolen or illegally obtained credit card information to make purchases or transactions, often buying gift cards or high-value items that can be resold for cash. Here’s a breakdown based on the information available up to November 18, 2024:

  • How It Works:

    • Data Acquisition: Carders obtain credit card details through various means like data breaches, phishing, skimming devices, or purchasing stolen data from the dark web.
    • Validation: Using bots or manual attempts, they test these card details by making small transactions on e-commerce platforms to check if the cards are still active (not reported lost or stolen).
    • Use: Once verified, the card details are used to buy gift cards, which are then used or resold. This step often involves buying items that don’t require registration, like electronics, which can be sold for cash.
  • Methods Used by Carders:

    • Phishing: Sending fraudulent emails or creating deceptive websites to trick people into giving up their card details.
    • Skimming: Using devices attached to ATMs or POS systems to capture card information during transactions.
    • Card Cracking/BIN Attacks: Generating card numbers based on known BIN (Bank Identification Number) patterns and guessing the rest via automated tools.
    • Distributed Guessing Attacks: Attempting card numbers across multiple sites to find valid ones.
  • Impact:

    • Victims: Both cardholders and merchants are affected. Cardholders might face unauthorized charges, while merchants deal with chargebacks, financial losses, and reputational damage.
    • Economy: Carding contributes to billions in losses annually, affecting the trust in digital transactions.
  • Prevention:

    • Technological Measures:

      • CVV and AVS: Card Verification Value and Address Verification System help in verifying the card’s authenticity and the cardholder’s identity.
      • CAPTCHA: To prevent bots from conducting carding attacks by requiring human interaction to proceed with transactions.
      • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Adding layers of security to verify the user’s identity beyond just card details.
    • Monitoring and Analytics:

      • Transaction Monitoring: Using AI and machine learning to detect unusual patterns in transaction behavior.
      • IP Geolocation Checks: Ensuring the IP location matches the billing information or flagging suspicious discrepancies.
    • Business Practices:

      • Setting Minimum Transaction Amounts: To discourage testing with small amounts.
      • Rate Limiting: Limiting the number of transactions or attempts from a single IP within a short period.
  • Legal and Ethical Implications:

    • Carding is illegal, with severe penalties including imprisonment. The forums and platforms used for carding often operate under the radar or on the dark web, complicating law enforcement efforts.
  • Public Awareness:

    • Educating the public about not sharing card information, checking for secure site indicators like HTTPS, being wary of phishing attempts, and regularly reviewing bank statements for unauthorized transactions.

Given the evolving nature of carding fraud, staying informed about new methods of attack and prevention is crucial for both individuals and businesses. If you’re looking into protecting yourself or your business from carding fraud, consider integrating robust security protocols, staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, and perhaps employing services that specialize in fraud detection and prevention.

Naona boomers have started concocting scenarios of how these young lads have been making their money. This is all bullshit. You just can’t get around the fact that the internet is where new money is made because all your life, boomers mnajua you can only make money from real estate.

Seeing young men acquiring millions has got you on a chokehold because you don’t know how to leverage the internet to make money. You’re jealous as hell and it’s so funny to me. Sasa you’re coming up with all these theories to tarnish the names of young men. Watu bure sana. Fucking monkey idiots.

Most likely wanauliwa juu wako na crypto. Wengi ni vijana na wanapenda kuflex. Ukiflex kwa marafiki zako with your $50,000 or $100,000 worth of BTC in a hot wallet kwa simu, utalijua jiji. Hao marafiki wako ndio wanakuseti unauliwa immediately after they transfer the crypto to their wallets. That is my educated guess.

Hawa watu wa wash wash, forex, etc all have one thing in common. They use crypto sana. So they are easy targets for robberies.

This is how it works: They hack into accounts in banks via 3rd app software and these are big banks including CitiBank, Wells Fargo, Chase etc where they monitor accounts to see which are kind of domant or those with huge balances and the owner can’t notice a small witdrawal. The next thing they do is have someone in the US setup an account in a Crypto Bank. When you set up an account you discuss your % ; the guy in Kenya gets %10, you might get %40, and then there is an unknown kingpin who gets %50, some guy lurking in the dark web.

They have your logons and one day the will make a transfer of $ 150,000(they go big) to the crypto bank, buy Bitcoin, transfer their Bitcoin and leave your share. They can do this for sometime and since this is America, you will be caught by the FBI eventually and the bad thing is that you will take the fall; you have been dealing with anonymous people. Right now some Kenyan somewhere is enjoying a 7 year prison sentence in Federal prison and he has to pay reinstitution including selling properties in Kenya. Also some of these people will use their Kenyan friends in the US and deposit cheques into their accounts.

The people in the dark web setting up these deals may also be unknown to the Kenyan team and if you refuse to send their share , they will not hesitate to have someone finish you. These people are local, have deep political connections and you will die a “natural death”. Last but not least your crew is merciless and will kill you too especially if you go showing off with money and big cars; FAKE friends.
