Dr Enoch Kariuki was honored in New York Times Square billboard after he was appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of an American biopharmaceutical giant.

An American stock market, Nasdaq wrote a message to commend the doctor for the momentous achievement.

"Nasdaq congratulates Dr. Enoch Kariuki, new CFO of Velosbio,” read the message which was accompanied by his photo.

To put it into perspective, the message was seen by on average 460,000 people who cross the intersection in Manhattan, New York on a daily basis.

The doctor, who boasts of vast experience in the field of healthcare strategy, life sciences, investment banking, venture capital and business development, will now look to scale the heights in the new field.

The pharmaceutical company, Velosbio deals with first-class cancer therapies for tumors.

The doctor noted that he would be looking to add his expertise into new innovations and research basis on the company.

“I am excited to join VelosBio at such a dynamic time. The company is developing multiple cancer therapies utilizing its proprietary technology to target ROR1, a novel oncology target, and I look forward to working with the scientific teams to help bring innovative therapies to cancer patients,” Kariuki noted.

The CEO of VelosBio, Dave Johnson also congratulated Kariuki and noted that Kariuki would be an invaluable asset to the team.
