A close friend of mine has about 3M Kenya Shillings that he has recieved as part of inheritance and he was wondering what is the Highest Return earning investment that he could make with this cash in the Next 12 months before he decides what to do with it?
He is Not interested in investing in Commodities,Shares,Stocks etc juu ya the Headache involved plus he is away from Kenya and doesn`t need the headache.
He is thinking more on the lines of a simple High interest earning account or something like that… @Okiya . @shocks and anyone else please advise.
if he wants risk free, mwambie anunue 364 day bill, next auction ni next Monday.
Kama anataka a little risk, mwambie anunue shares za KCB / Equity, atakuwa amekula ka capital gains + div. by next year
Tell him to invest in Uhuru Kenyatta…yes you read it right and returns are huge.He will be re-elected definately so your friend should get someone who knows somebody close to the president.Contribute that Ksh 3M into his campaign kitty and leave your address.Once he is in power you get rewarded big…
These banks must work extremely hard next year to maintain same profit trend. South Sudan is currently a very hopeless country these banks have to look for compensating profits from elsewhere. By December the kenya shilling will be stronger than their currency.
Seems your friend prefers alternative investment options rather than the traditional ones kama shares, bonds etc .Nowdays kuna new ways za kuinvest your cash with above average market returns. Actually at the Cytonn are taking the same root… they have many financial investment plans that gives you interest returns of up to 18% .Their minimum investment money is 1M ,so with 3M you can really get good returns.
With your 3M you can invest in real estate .More guyz from overseas are now investing in real estate because the returns per annum is about 24%. This is a good bargain considering that banks give you interest returns of less than 10%.
Kabuda, you can connect me to that friend of yours if anahitaji kujua mob before making any investment decisions more so with that kind of money
