Ukilog in kwa iTax, kuna link ya refunds where unafaa kujaza , Agent Pin, Agent name (but hizo niliambiwa na KRA staff niache blank) and your bank details then unasubmit.
My problem ni nimejaribu kujaza amount, but hiyo field haiko active, sijui ni how.

I think that field is self-calculating.
Refund is rare. You only use the credit balance against future tax obligations, unless you are dealing with zero rated sales like exporting of agricultural produce then you can claim the vat charged on your purchases.

I have only seen one case of Income Tax (PAYE) being refunded (but it belongs to one of the real mbirrionaires in this country), VAT refund claims are seriously, intensively and extensively vetted. I read somewhere in the papers that Treasury had halved (i stand corrected) the amount claimed after the serious audit and that they will set the amount in the upcoming budgetary estimates for payment.
