Looks like this people are actually serious with their Fibre internet offer. Nmeona watu wakiweka cables kwa izo posts zao town mzima for the past two days. Hope the idea will mature and not be mismanaged. I thank God that Association of Exposed Teeth Bonobos (AET-B) in conjunction with Professional Looters are no longer in charge at KPLC so we can expect some competence for once.
Wakiwa na offer poa ata mimi sies mind
The internet cables do not necessarily belong to KPLC. Most likely third parties using their poles.
Kenya Power to start selling fixed internet - Business Daily (businessdailyafrica.com)
Actually, they plan to launch their own fiber internet service soon. They will use their poles to spread it to home and business clients.
Eager
Well till I see the actual products I will not get my hopes up…
For the last 10 years or so Kplc has been threatening to launching Fibre for home like once every couple of years…
Threaten - state one’s intention to take hostile action against (someone) in retribution for something done or not done.
Well I eventually came up with a theory… KPLC threatens to enter the market, existing providers throw some bones KPLC way, the story dies. Rinse and Repeat…
wacha wa capitalise kwa ii vast fibre network yao, sasa wanaendea nyama mzima ii maneno ya kukula minofu tawe
Minofu for an individual (Brass)… Is better than Nyama ya kampuni…
Kplc na mediocrity si watu wa freenet watakamua hii kampuni bila lube.:D:D:D:D
Actually Kplc has existing Wan all over kenya na ni venye it is limited to certain users pekee at the moment
Competition is highly welcome. It might lead to cheaper internet
Competition is here safaricom wametesa siku mingi
Wataambia hawa wengine watoe line zao kwa vikingi za stima? And how much do they pay to run their Fibre lines via KPLC posts? Na kwa nini kanjo hawachimbi one major tube through the city then force all fiber lines to use it badala ya kila mtu kuchimba na kuchimbua every few months? Then can charge monthly rent
10 years ago we made this proposal to the City County. Simply have a common services network which fiber providers can utilize at a reasonable fee. This will significantly reduce on the cost and time taken to increase network coverage. In addition it will help retain the beauty of the city since in most cases restoration is never done correctly i.e cabro restoration…
Our proposal never saw the light of day.
What they tell you?
Simply rejected the proposal…
Hiv infested jaluo with syphilitic infection, do you know who owns the best internet providing company in Kenya?
