Kiss of the Dragon

While watching a movie long time ago with the above title by Jet Li, I noticed at the last scene he inserts a needle in the neck of the guy and tells him how that will interfere with blood flow…it sounds very scientific. I have been asking myself how true this is for a while.

The link to the last scene is here

To the doctors, martial artists and accupunturists in the village, how true is that phenomenon he calls ‘the kiss of the dragon’?

There was nothing that I loved more than Jet Li movies back in the days

Anything related to kissing dragons, just go ahead and ask me… Needles i can’t relate. That’s witchcraft.

While in college,I took a course in medical and forensic anthropology. Our lecturer demonstrated a technique whereby by pressing certain blood vessels in the body he could effectively render a body part immobile.
Whatever Jet Li did was just science. Chinese science also known as accupuncture.

If that is acupuncture then go back and ask for a refund of your school fees

There is some truth in this, at times when I pinch certain veins, I cant feel that part of my body

Please re-read my comment. And also try and read up on accupunture. Accupunture is used both to heal and destroy/kill… And I ain’t going back to any school for refunds. Unless its yout school and your were the teacher… Thank you very much.

Kama uliangalia poa ungeona hazikuwa just needle, nyuma kwa base kulikuwa na kama ka ball color ina vary from Green to red… Most of the tym alitumia Green to put people to sleep… I gues red ilikuwa the “kiss of the dragon” yani deadly n tht wat he used on the last scene

I have all jet li movies in blue Ray I watch them often . The best martial artist of our generation
