If you can make your feeds at industrial scale then you can venture into poultry bizna… Tried and the feeds were too expensive hizo hesabu haiwezi balance…
What about free range where you don’t necessarily have to buy commercial feeds?
free range ni kienyeji ama?
Can be kienyeji or improved kienyeji but not enclosed. Roaming freely most of the time
In Uganda feed ni cheap wakulima wale wajanja wanaenda ug wanabuy chukula in bulk .
Still making your feeds beats everything… Sometimes hizi feeds are not compatible
Kienyeji I think shida ni output… Expenses ziko chini but output very low huwezi kula pesa mzuri
Are we just going to ignore the “egg raying and poultry realing” part:D:D:D:D:D…oh wait, some listers are sub county.my bad.As you were villagers
Despite murdering the Queen’s language, i think the message is clear enough.
Free range is more of a hobby than agribusiness…
I am sure you got the message…
Before embarking on any agribusiness project first have a market. And not those imaginary scenarios that play in your head. That the market can’t get enough of milk, tomatoes, meat sijui ooh veges. Then talk to an experienced farmer who has been in the biz. Always seek a 2nd opinion when given one by EOs esp the ones that are seconded by agros
The uncertainty that comes with an unregulated market coupled with cartels aka brokers will leave you with a broken spirit and an empty wallet. My two cents
whatever floats the boat…had to gugu that and gugu asked "did you mean laying?..and i was like oh,yeah,is thats what it is…
Again, subcounty folks would have guessed it:):)
’
That’s exactly what I do with mine, they keep me and family busy around the home but I never really expect to make profits from them.
@ChifuMbitika wee wi ngui muno…ninakimbia hapa teketeke nakuta ni kuku unaongelelea…ndakwona Karatina no iguna ithuku ngakuhura nario :D:D:D
Hahahahaha!
Do they rake in some coins to the family coffers somehow?
I never sell anything, eggs are consumed by family and from time to time we eat them and give others away to visitors and relatives.
