The three named gentlemen are allegedly admitted at Nairobi hospital suffering from various ailments. Former President Baba Jimmy was the last to be admitted jana (Thursday) jioni. The grim reaper harvested GG Kariuki’s soul on the same wing of this hospital just last week. Praying we don’t lose anyone, July has been harsh. Reporting live for @meriamata global news channel

millenials wont comprehend the loss of these great men to this country. They played their part. We wish those sick good health and a long life.
This such a nice photo. Mid 90s ?
There’s this man I know in Dagoretti. He’s from the same Rika as mzee Jomo. They went to the same irua. Nigga is still straight walking, reads his Bible bare eyed, chews his githeri flawlessly and walks to church every morning… 3km away. He has burried his wives, his kids, his grandkids and none of his childhood or adult friends are alive. To put it in perspective, he was 30+,when Moi was being born in 1924. He was 40+ when Kibaki was being born in 1935. He was Kalonzo’s age when Muthamaki was being born in 1963.
I am interested in someone who could get this man on a documentary of sorts. When I was born some 30 plus years ago, he was almost clocking 90. It’s scary to live as long as that man. Named mzee John Muturi. And he’ll relive memories from his teenage years like it was just yesterday, telling us how the mzungu first came.
Saitoti, Ntimama, Biwott, Kamotho. Died from the furthest ends coming in, leaving the eldest of them standing as tall today as he did then.
Is your old man 120’s? That would make him the worlds oldest.
Some of these old men will fake their DOBs to gain popularity and fame. Tell me how a 120 year old will walk 3km, chew githeri and read without the help of spectacles? They will tell u mimi niliona Kibaki akinyonyeshwa and yet he was born 2years after Kibaki. It reminds me of the eastlands soccer mdomo refus who normally call themselves coach and most are idlers who spend their day in mogoka joints telling u how they once played with Victor Wanyama…ati kama si hii injury while showing u his knee ningekuwa mbali sana mtu wangu
With this historical picture, it’s clear that we have moved one generation ahead and soon another one (our generation) is coming fast into leadership. Nitukurire…
Nice pic!
Good to see MMNN is going global. Asante sana
You didn’t really answer my question but judging from the next entry about a man born in the 1890s…:(… I’ll let you be.
wacha tusilete siasa hapa lakini huyo jamaa hajibuingi maswali vile inafaa
I can figure out most of them, who’s the 1st person on the front left?
Actually Bethuel Kiplagat has passed on this morning… RIP
May the spirit of good health visit them. They played their part, we in different spheres, lets play our part
Kamotho, Biwott, Saitoti… also infamously known as KABISA!
On that list wale wame baki ni Bako na Njonjo. Bethwell passed in the morning… R. I. P
sasa mutaamini daddy owen akisema “yote ni vanity”
This generation is clearing the way for that preceding it.
Wacha mzee apumzike.
