Remember that song by Frank Sinatra? I did it my way? Regrets I have a few but then too few to mention. If there is anything I fear it’s getting tied down to a horrible person for life because I have a child with them. Like Mulamwah and Tristan Thompson. It’s what my nightmares are made of. Being reminded for the rest of my life that I picked a lousy person to be the father of my kids. I can’t imagine the hell and anguish this woman is in. She was looking for love not betrayal. Anyway, as I always say men will wake up in the middle of the night to embarrass you. They live to embarrass and humiliate women. It’s called gangsta points. LOL. If you are still dealing romantically with this reprehensible gender tread with care. The worst regret you can have is a child with a terrible human being.
Here is my philosophy about how to deal with regrets.
In life there are no mistakes only lessons. When the student is ready the teacher will appear. So when you get into a toxic relationship you are probably very naive and you focus on the dream rather than the reality. So you are able to put up with it because that’s your level of maturity. When the time comes and you can no longer stand the relationship and stop projecting a fairytale prince to someone who is a nematode, guess what? You have grown. A diaper was fine when you started but now you have grown and need to go to the next step of potty training. Thank your teacher and move to the next class. They have helped you outgrow toxic people and toxic relationshits. You can no longer put up with bullshit bcz you are no longer the person you used to be. YOU HAVE GROWN. If you can regret something that once upon a time was perfectly fine to you, your standards have gone up and you, my friend have grown and growth is the essence of life. Last year you could stand some bullshit now you can not. That’s growth. People who have never grown have nothing to regret bcz they’re still the same person they were. You you’re regretting because you have outgrown that crap that you were once really invested in. Bless Jesus.
