Khaki or official trousers

Nyinyi huprefer gani especially attending official matters

depends on occasion

Official functions: have a few official garments for that. Avoid casual clothes and shoes.

Depends with your pockets and seniority in the organisation. For junior officers you must wear official trouser, kama ushamaliza kusomesha watoto ndo unaeza valia khaki

Point of correction khaki is official and casual. It depends umevaa shati gani.

Depends with organisation also, I know places where people wear jeans, shirt and coat

Some places it may be seen as casual

No official si lazima iwe trouser ya material. Pia khodry ni official kiplani Bora hizo line zisikue kubwa na Nono.

Na iwe na turn-up!

You mean ‘corduroy’?

Kitu kama hiyo.

Khaki i think iko 50% official, 50% casual. Wear it on a friday while going to work…and weekends too. In ICT, engineering, art organizations, hao naonanga hawana noma juu hawavai tai. Otherwise mi huvaa material monday to thursday.

some employers don’t care bora kazi utatwanga sawasawa

Khaki/chino all the way. even in interviews. I currently do not own any official trousers, suit or tie. I work in International Development

I am considering Masters in International development…unaonaje
Did Bsc Engineering…

In technical fields we rarely wear ‘material’ trousers. Khaki is enough hata kwa interview. My looks as a technical guy matters less, after all I will be in overalls at job

depends on which side of uhuru highway you are attending your matters

Always dress casually smart. I repeat casually smart. You don’t have to be too official and yet it’s just for a day also you don’t need to look shabby.

Khaki is casual and I woudn’t advise one to wear it especially to an interview. Have one pair of official trousers for such an event

You can do project management and look for jobs in those international NGOs that work in Water and sanitation, logistics, build temporary shelters for UN agencies, especially in conflict-stricken or disaster prone countries. etc.
