Kenya's Constitution is Useless. What is the need for a Majority in Parlaiment when you Have a presidential veto?

It seems to me that all a president needs is 1/3 of parliament on his side and his laws will be passed without any problem. MPs debate in parliament and pass whatever. The president amends the bill with whatever he wants and sends it back to parliament. Dares parliament to raise 2/3rds and then tells them to go to hell.

In an ideal situation the parliament is an independent arm of govt but in Kenya it’s simply an extension of the Executive

Would you have preferred a 1/3 of parliament for a bill to fail?
Ama unajaribu kusema nini?

Democracy - the minority has their say, but the majority have their day!

are there limitation on what the president can amend, ama he can add anything he wants and send it back.

No limitations at all. The constitution doesn’t mention such a thing. The stupidity of this constitution
