It was possible to send Ruto home, but everything was turned into a Mt Kenya agenda to reclaim power. That evokes different feelings and emotions to those outside the mountain.
Again, when it was alleged Kibaki had rigged himself in at the 2007 elections they said Raila is lying, when it was alleged Uhuru hasn’t achieved the constitutional threshold and rigging electrol malpractice has happened, they said Raila is a perennial loser, when the same mischief happened in 2017,the supreme court agreed and considering the same mischief would happen again, Raila boycotted and uhuru won 98% of the vote with a less than 40% turnout.
The system being compromised, it was hopped Uhuru backing Raila would lead to victory but Ruto was the system.
Nothing has changed, you can’t beat a compromised system. Ruto will win in 2027.Uhuru knows so and that’s why he wants his jubilee to have numbers in parliament since he is not sure it’s possible to win against Ruto and make Matiangi president( but at least politically he can say they supported a luo, a kisiis all from nyanza. Very good political investment and changing perceptions in nyanza, his son can even claim mashemeji)

Kikuyus not accepting Ruto’s Victory won’t stop the rest of Kenya from celebrating the Victory. The people making noise online will be disappointed terribly after the 2027 results.
