But it looks to me like these things happen over there, it’s only that the moral police decided on this particular night that they were bored and made a raid. For one, by Saudi standards, that place looks slum-ish, so it’s like the authorities turn a blind eye while the “peasants” have their fun.
Secondly, they look like they’re observing protocol, even while breaking the law. The women sit together while the men do the same. No gender mixing like you’d expect in a “normal” bash. Alafu they look relaxed in the first 3 and last photos, like they’ve done it so many times that they’re no longer afraid of police showing up.
At times like this when a crown prince is eager to stamp his authority, and even princes are getting “jailed” in 5 star hotels, it’s best for one to keep their Kenyan ass at home until things cool down.
On the bright side though, there are tens of new job openings in Saudi Arabia.
it requires only one person on the criminal or national security intelligence watchlist to post something stupid and he brings the whole network down.

The first thing that caught my eye is the space versus the crowd. Then I thought of other facilities like the washrooms. Like you correctly say peasant scenario. Bedsitter hivi.

Let the hashtags begin…the #Sudan4 will be released tomorrow, we can now focus our energy on the #SaudiMany . But why would you break a known rule/law…and to make it worse, a foreign land and expect to be pardoned when caught?

No sympathies here. They knew the law and chose to break it. I’m hoping they serve their full sentences before being deported.

Woi! Slavery ndio zao for coming years. Hizo jela ni kuchapa kazi ama uchapwe. Its a good cure for alcoholism. If they come out alive they’ll hate drugs so much,it’ll be traumatic to walk near a pub.Not forgetting ushoga! Jail is a jungle. Jela ya Uarabuni is a labyrinth!

Shame. We have a lot of Kenyans out there earning a living and guys mistake the regions for whatever. But the worst that happens to our folk is the physical abuse and the rape…our women are raped by these animals and beaten by the memsahibs.
I have to disappoint you but they have the best jails I have had the chance to be hosted. During that time I was dreading the day I would see a Kenyan embassy representative coming to my cell and informing me that I have to finish my sentence in Kamiti maximum prison. Why would I agree to go to Kamiti while am being given a mattress and a blanket, three meals a day comprising of chicken, rice and camel meat??? long story short, don’t talk of things you don’t know.

Camel dung! What about your freedom?
A crime had been committed and time had to be served. Don’t we also have foreigners in Kamiti and langata women???
