What the hell ? Ati 27 roofs? Mimi naona ’ moja’ hiyo ni thinking ya kishenzi sana
hehehe. Africans view roof as the main element noticeable from afar. For bungalow and maisonettes, that’s the core area where creativity(signature) of the architect comes into play, taking into consideration the client’s urge to brag determines the end results. It’s something we have from way back stone age pale Turkana…just look at our traditional houses and see that despite looking simple, they were also complicated in roof designs of that time.
In short; roof is the face of your pigsty and design is more of cultural heritage.
mkipata time go through - architecture of Africa.
Wacha watu warembeshe nyumba
Roof inakaa kama avatar ya @Gio
Kitu muhimu mi huona ni water harvesting avenues na the toilet. Hizo ndo nitamwaga pesa yangu yote. Oh and the kitchen. Roof Vndu shi? Tawe!!!
i can already see the roof of my retirement home na shamba lenyewe mahali najenga sijanunua…
Presentation Is the key, it’s all about aesthetics, why buy 10 million worth of fittings for your retirement crib and wrap it up with a crappy exterior
Just asking
following keenly
Wacha creativity itambae.
And who told the mofo that we have to copy everything white people do?
The same way na gari, it changes ukieka designer rims.
@shocks for me less is more. am not sure what the architect was trying to communicate by including all types of roofs in one house without harmony. there is nothing complicated about it, it’s simply confused. personally i have a bias for flats roofs.
a good roof gives character to your house it could a simple as this…

but my ideal house would be this…

What I hate most is people who build bathrooms/toilets with very small windows. My friend, who said that is a cell???
His kind of thinking is retarded we don’t have to copy white people, Let people be hata mtu akitaka kujenga warehouse kama nyumba ya kuishi wacha ajenge…hiyo pesa si ya mamako
I prefer flat too.
if that was your post on pin up board umeji expose.
when your are designing someone’s dream home you should be prepared to deal with a lot of bullshit and unreasonable demands.
sometimes these clients approach you with a ready designs for you customize it to suit thier sites. Trying to convince them otherwise is a tall order. as they say the client is always right. I have walked away from such deals…
Za wazungu ni simple and steep ndio imwage snow.
One of those “roofs” should cover his osungu.dll. Imenyeshewa sana ikadissolve kwa mvua.
