Because that’s what works for the main demographic of the television.. children are 50% of it, so it has to be emotional content for advertisers to actually pay. If you want manly entertainment go to a stripclub.

Kenyan media is full of shit. Why inundate prime time with news about politicians’ shenanigans, an update on an accident in some outback, a story about msee kushikwa Kwa nyumba ya malaya, Leo mahakamani etc? Ujinga mtupu. And let me not get started on the mind numbing adverts during the commercial breaks.

This Obina vurugu event was a national embarrassment. People are focusing on social media personalities instead of actual career boxers who can represent this country abroad. The Kenya police boxing team (Chafua Chafua) is the best we have even ulinzi uingizwa maji na hao wasee but they never get noticed.
