When Kenya decided to deal with Somalia, directly dealing with regional authorities was on top of the list. But most regions like Somaliland and puntland were far away from the Kenyan border.
So Kenya faced the issue head on and created Jubaland state despite global outcry by sympathizers and sponsors of jihadism.
Now world powers like the US have adopted a similar policy on Somalia

In other news, I think this is sensational. After discovery of massive fraud under USAID, definitely the Americans would want real data to justify their expenditure. It’s a fair trade off given we are a corrupt country that can’t afford to finance it’s most basic needs

Under security,I hope Ruto and Trump will include fraud in immigration,finance,real estate, smuggling rings and lack of ID-ing people by somalia since 1989 and cessation of refugeeship. The FBI, CIA etc should be able to raid enclaves like Eastleigh and now Parklands, South B/C or any other in Kenya. They should also agree those deported from the US will be taken to Somalia, maybe use Wajir or Masalani air bases as stop overs for way laying
